Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer and activist for animal rights. Her name is well-known for movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). She was raised by an artistic family from New York and wanted to explore a career in the art. While working as an assistant to photographers She turned her focus to acting and modeling. She won her the Golden Globe Award in 1990 because she was a promising young actress. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major smash and brought her world recognition as well as the Academy Award' nomination and a Golden Globe award. Within three years, MacGraw was ranked as the top female box office starter in the world. Handprints, signatures and footprints were immortalized in 1972 at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Her other credits comprise The Getaway Convoy Players, television miniseries The Winds of War and other. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw is married three times.
