Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in America for more than forty years. Her most well-known role is for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). Her stage work began in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. After that, she acted on Broadway for a number of productions until 1957 when Li'l Abner became big in the National Theatre. The same year, She recorded her first album of music It's time for Tina. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood as Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre a drama film released 1958.The film was praised widely and Louise received the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's student. The next notable role she portrayed as Ginger Grant, which CBS was the first to sign her on to play in the year 1964. Louise was able to balance her acting career successfully between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing somber characters against her perceived image of an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she also became a well-known director on popular TV programs like Supernatural and The 100. She was born in Essex on August 28th 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto when she was three which is where she spent the rest of her childhood and adolescence. She settled in Vancouver following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter.
